An ordinary TNT bomb involves atomic reaction, and could be called an atomic bomb. What we call an A-bomb involves nuclear reactions and should be called a nuclear bomb

    2. TNT bombs are the result of a chemical reaction. Atoms are rearranged but their properties remain the same. Atomic bombs change the structure of atoms, which in turn creates energy. This is why they're called atomic bombs.
